What is Tajweed?
When considering Tajweed, the primary question that arises is why it is of paramount importance to recite the Holy Quran with Tajweed. Similar to any language, correct pronunciation and recitation adhere to the norms of its native speakers. Since the Quran is in Arabic, it is imperative to recite it in accordance with the Arabic method. Failing to do so might compromise the Arabic essence of the Quran and misinterpret Allah’s intended message. Even slight alterations in pronunciation can lead to significantly different meanings.
